Turtle porcelain boxes by Michael Lawrence
I have always love reptiles. When I was a child I had a box turtle named Huey. He would vanish in winter and I could hardly wait
till spring when he would reappear. These porcelain turtle boxes are a tribute to my little turtle. Each design is hand painted.
They all require numerous firings before they are finally signed and dated many are one of a kind.
